Paul D. Hesse
Paul D. Hesse (born October 15, 1965) grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and has lived in New Orleans and the surrounding areas since 1984. He attended Tulane University (B. A. 1984) and Tulane Law School (J. D. 1991). He is admitted to all state courts in Louisiana and the Eastern, Middle and Western United States District Courts.
Mr. Hesse’s practice is devoted to serving injured people in all matters and at all stages of litigation at both the state and federal levels. He has over twenty years of legal experience that includes representing plaintiffs in a variety of areas, including personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, maritime claims, employment discrimination, toxic torts, class actions and multi-state complex litigation. His work also involves a substantial appellate practice.
In the past, he has been employed as defense counsel in general commercial litigation and has represented parties in bankruptcies, worker’s compensation matters, Social Security disability hearings, and domestic relations cases.
Since 2013, Mr. Hesse has been an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Diversity Committee and is committed to his profession’s welcoming and sustaining all Louisiana lawyers, including underprivileged minorities, to levels of equality and shared respect.
He and his wife, April, reside in Covington, Louisiana, and have one son, Jason, now enrolled at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, of whom they are very proud.
