Brice Jones
Gregory Brice Jones (G. Brice Jones) was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is an Eagle Scout, an honor graduate of Lagrange High School, Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a member of Lamda Chi Alpa Social Fraternity at LSU.
He is a resident of Slidell for the last forty-six years and has been engaged in the practice of law in this area for forty-two years. He is a graduate of LSU and Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was selected for Law Review.
He has represented in excess of six thousand individual clients throughout his professional career. His practice is now limited to personal injury, insurance claims, successions, wills and representation of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Jones has extensive trial court experience; has tried numerous jury cases in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
He is a former member of Slidell Planning and Zoning Commission; member of Board of Directors, Washington-St. Tammany Public Defender Office from 1985 - 2008; former Assistant District Attorney; former member of Board of
Directors -Northshore Regional Medical Center (1999 - 2012); former board member, National Safety Consultants, third party administrator for self-insured fund, Timbermen’s; member of Board of Directors, ADL Adrenoleukodystophy) Foundation; member of the Slidell Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, 22nd Judicial District Court Chapter Inns of Court. He currently serves as Chairman of the Northshore Court Foundation, a non-profit organization composed of local professional and business persons dedicated to elevate awareness of the need for alternative courts for non-violent offenders.
In addition to the full time practice of law, Mr. Jones owns and manages a 1000 acre farm known as “Paloma”, Pearl River County, Mississippi, engaged in the production of various strains of pine timber and a managed deer herd.
He is the father of G. Stewart Jones of Slidell, Louisiana, a graduate of Barry School of Law, Orlando, Florida, who is the general manager of The Pro Companies (Sun Pro, Build Pro, Energy Pro) focusing on green energy; and, Dr. Melissa Kathryn Jones, a practicing OB-GYN in Natchez, Mississippi.
